<p>Wilchaan is a contemporary dancer based in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. Born in France, raised in Switzerland and with some Mexican origins. He started dance around 7 years old, and followed a bachelor dance education in Rotterdam for 4 years with ballet, modern techniques, jazz and contemporary. After graduating, he worked with several choreographers within the dance company Club Guy&amp;Roni in the North of Holland, and with several emergent choreographers from Belgium, Barcelona and Luxembourg, with who he is currently working with as a free lancer. With all these dance experiences, he developped a style both raw and stylised, contorted and flowy, like a glitching video game character. He is not bound to specific art ideologies, but taking in any kind of product into inspiration and from there developping his own dance research work. "The ephemerity of dance is its doom and greatest power, it paints with colors that fade in the blink of an eye but leave marks that stay for life, upholding both eternity and mortality in its hands".</p>
